Introduction New Projects

In the submenu above you can make a choice between sections. Each section is dedicated to documents that are generated by one of the projects and themes of ENOTHE.

Projects and themes have a specified task and workplan, which are approved by the General Assembly. Over the next few years ENOTHE working groups will address the following themes:

Tuning and quality assurance of occupational therapy education in Europe.
The development of the European Dimension in occupational therapy education.
The development of continuing education and research into education.
The development of innovative teaching methods eg Problem Based Learning (PBL), electronic learning.

Projects / Research

The ENOTHE board will consider funding small projects or pieces of research which includes participants from at least three member states and addresses a topic or problem defined in relation to the ENOTHE objectives and the above mentioned themes.

New projects within ENOTHE

The following principles govern the establishment of new projects / research within ENOTHE:

Each project/research within ENOTHE:

Must have participants from at least 4 member states or focus on four member states
Should address a topic and/or problematic defined in relation to the general objectives and principles of ENOTHE as specified in the Charter and in relation to the Berlin declaration and in relation to the tasks mentioned in this letter.
Must observe certain procedural rules commented upon below.
Must have one co-ordinator.

The procedures to submit a project / research proposal are as follows:

A proposal for a project should be sent to the ENOTHE board. The proposal should contain information in regard to:

the objectives/problematics to be addressed a list of members and institutions participating (or the focus on certain member states),
the planned duration
main activities and expected outcomes
products and impact on institutional and European level
implementation and dissemination strategy
workplan

The proposal should be submitted in English. The proposal should also contain the name of the proposed co-ordinator or researcher. The proposals will be discussed in the board and with the project group leaders and prioritised. A proposal for acceptance of projects and research activities will be made by the board for the general assembly, where the final decision will be taken.

Each accepted project / research will be presented on the web site and it is the obligation of the co-ordinator / researcher to present a plan of activities and/or products etc. Material must be submitted in English and if possible in one other language. The acceptance of a project/research does not automatically guarantee any financial contribution from ENOTHE.

Financial support will be given within the framework of the budget and the priorities of ENOTHE set by the general assembly. The support from ENOTHE can be financially and/or administrative.
