ENOTHE and the Student Network, objectives and responsibilities
April 2003
1. The Objectives of the Student Network are:
| Objective 1 | - | Students organise their own workshops linked to the ENOTHE annual meeting. |
| Objective 2 | - | Students determine a project theme linked to the theme of the European Year f the European Commission |
| Objective 3 | - | Students promote an international view on Occupational Therapy Students learn from each other |
2. Responsibilities
Organising OT institute (of the annual ENOTHE meeting):
- Points out two students who will take part in the ENOTHE conference in the preceded year.
- Establishes a student committee to organise the conference.
- Points out two representatives of this committee as contact persons of the ENOTHE office.
- Takes responsibility for the tasks of the students in organising the conference.
Student-Committee of the organising institute:
- Is responsible for arranging students workshops linked to the annual ENOTHE meeting and its theme(content).
- Is responsible for writing a paper with instructions for students for the projects linked to the European Year of the European Commission, organise parallel sessions for presentation of these projects and, as a result of the annual meeting prepare a CD-Rom from the ideas presented. All material will be reviewed after the annual meeting by the host institution and a representative of the ENOTHE board.
- Is responsible for recruiting other students (from their own or other countries) for the organisation of the conference/workshops.
- Two contact persons are responsible for the contact and exchange of information with the ENOTHE office and the Board.
The two contact persons of the student-committee:
- Are representatives of the organising student committee.
- Are obliged to keep regular contact with the ENOTHE office and will follow the time-schedule of the Student Conference-Workplan of the ENOTHE office (: see "activities and responsibilities of the ENOTHE office").
- Consulate their organisation and the ENOTHE board about the content of the ENOTHE student workshops and the theme of the projects.
- Are obliged to write a "Final Report ENOTHE Student Workshops" (in co-operation with the student committee) with a reflection on their work and recommendations for the next year
- The two contact persons will be supported by the ENOTHE board (in flight costs) to attend the annual meeting in the preceded year.
All Occupational Therapy students of ENOTHE member organisations
- Students, who participate in the annual ENOTHE meeting prepare themselves on the themes of the workshops and are together responsible for the success of those workshops
- Students provide the ENOTHE office with interesting information and articles about international aspects of Occupational Therapy (like placement abroad, comparative studies or international projects or experiences in an internet course etc...) for the web-site
ENOTHE office:
- Keeps contact with the student contact persons.
- Provides the contact persons with "Student guidelines projects"" for the preparation and organsiation of the student projects presentation
- Supplies the contact persons with proper information about the conference and other important information.
- Takes care of the mailing of the student committee to students of all member organisations of ENOTHE.
- The student web-site: takes responsibility to update the student web-site as far as it concerns information of the ENOTHE office itself or the Board/project groups, and up-date information provided by students themselves.
The Board:
- Gives the two contact persons proper information for preparation of the student conference / workshops
- Provides the two contact persons with financial support for travel costs to attend the preceded annual ENOTHE meeting
- Considers the recommendation of the "Final Report ENOTHE Student Workshops" of the latest year in their plans with ENOTHE.
