    • Definition and clarification criteria for including 'Occupational Science Literature in Europe'

    • publications by group members and collaborators (speaking Spanish, French, German, Dutch etc)
    • First draft to be presented and discussed at ENOTHE meeting in Amsterdam (Nov 2001)
    • Literature list to be updated until projects end 2003
    • Partners in project communicate through E-mail
  2. Database of doctoral studies in Occupational Science
    • Information of finished and ongoing doctoral studies within subjects linked to Occupational Science
    • Co-partner in project follow up Part 2
  3. Workshop on Occupational Science
    • Making overview of publications, ongoing doctoral studies and postdoctoral studies
    • Invite speakers to Occupational Science workshop, Estoril 2002
    • Occupational Science Workshop as part of ENOTHE-meeting in Estoril 2002

Objectives and description of products Increase European collaboration in continuing education and research by:
  1. Develop a data base/overview of European Occupational Science literature
  2. Develop a data base and forum for doctoral students
  3. Organise a workshop/conference in Occupational Science
  4. Make a publication/booklet in Occupational Science
Time schedule Stage 1: Feb 2001 – Nov 2001
  • Collecting data
  • Review of literature
  • Discussion of criteria
  • Finding co-partners for project (speaking other European languages than working group)
  • First overview of literature (Amsterdam Nov 2001)

Stage 2: Nov 2001 – Oct 2002

  • Update of literature
  • Overview of ongoing PhD in occupational science (occupational therapy?)
  • Invitation to speakers
  • Occupational Science Workshop (Estoril Oct 2002)

Stage 3: Oct 2002 – Oct 2003

  • Update of literature and ongoing PhD in occupational science
  • Clarify authors and content of publication

Stage 4: Oct 2003 - 2004

  • Dissemination of publication
Requirements and cost Minimum 5 meetings (+ one meeting already arranged in Osnabrück)

Meetings at Lund University and Sör-Tröndelag University College will be less cost consuming since only 3 persons have to travel

First meeting in Amsterdam 2001:

  • All 5 group members, 5 travelling,
  • Hotel, 10 nights

Second Meeting in Lund winter 2001/2002:

  • All 5 group members, 3 travelling,
  • Hotel, 3 nights

Third meeting in Trondheim spring 2002

  • All 5 group members, 3 travelling
  • Hotel, 3 nights

Fourth meeting in Estoril Oct 2002:

  • All 5 group members, 5 travelling
  • Hotel, 10 nights

Fifth meeting in Amsterdam 2003

  • All 5 group members, 5 travelling
  • Hotel, 10 nights
Remarks This project will promote further collaboration and networking in Europe on higher level of research and doctoral studies. The project will further the work done by the European Dimension group and Curriculum Guideline Group finished in Paris 2000. Also this project will make a relevant data base of research for new and developing OT programs especially in East Europe.
